There will be an important meeting tomorrow, conducted in Bimasena meeting hall in Darmawangsa hotel. It will be very crucial since it will define the destiny for some people...

Being challenged differently

So, here's the summary to date (from the view of my professional life)...

2002 - Joined SLB
2010 - Joined WFT
2014 - Joined CDS

in between,

2012 - Enrolled to WBS
2013 - Took courses in UBC Business School
2014 - Took courses in Tongji School of Economic and Management

The one that really made me having all the knowledge in oilfield is when I was in SLB. Training is excellent, the opportunities and experiences are top notch.

Whilst in WFT, the environment I was in (Iraq), made me tougher than I thought I could be. In CDS, is the first time of taking a senior management level.

In WBS and other business schools i was taking the courses in, it taught me something different, broaden the horizon in term of knowledge (theory), city-wise, etc.

This year, it should be something else more challenging...

This part of my life is finishing

I started this back in 2012 when I was pretty much having a lot of spare time; so instead of wasting it for nothing, so I took the GEMBA (Global Energy) MBA as advised by one of my dear friend, Sheharyar Khan.

The whole process even though complicated, but made easy, including awarded scholarship about GBP 4,500 for the first semester.

After 2 years+ of having blended (modular) learning of occasionally flying to UK (Coventry) to have mid-term and classes there, now it (almost) comes to an end. Just last week, I submitted the thesis (sent it soft copy and hard copy) to the university.

Within this 3-4 weeks, there will be announcement of hopefully I can get my graduation in June or July 2015, but not too sure if I can attend the ceremony in UK, cause it clashes with the Eid, which normally celebrated with family in Indonesia.

Now, this part of my life (MBA part) is though tough and fun, but almost there. I am in the process to enrol to DBA study program, that will be 4-5 years of blended learning. Let's hope and try for the best as always.
