Let's move on...

The parties that would feel a bit/most painful of this road to our marriage are the ex-es. I can only imagine, and decide not to simulate how they feel, but let the gone be by gone. From her and my side, whomever we had relationship with, let's move on towards our own happiness.

We believe there are someone(s) out there meant for you. Expecting and hoping something bad happening to us, are just not humanly acceptable. We've shared our time before, and it's not the time to scratch and dig dirt; let's just cherish all the good and great moments and put where it belongs, the past, indeed.

Soon or later, you will find someone like us...

Some stories behind what meets the eyes...

 

The engagement was done in semi cultural way that I, as from man, brought some gifts to her house, and her aunty (in white) will take what's been brought by my mother (the one in violet), and saw, and judge it. It was so fun, that I felt like too bad that it wasn't recorded in the video camera. But anyway, it's good enough to have it in the series of pictures.

 

 



Engagement day - Story 1

While waiting for high resolution picture from Mario, our private photographer, let me share some result of him from the event that was on Feb 23rd 2013. Hopefully the picture can tell the story itself.

The bits and pieces are known, and it's just the matter of time to consolidate them

In the next posts, I will reveal how this story begins... It's a bit like a drama that you will hardly imagine, and every now and then I couldn't believe it as well... It's a combination of romance, fun, trust, leap of faith, and on top of it all effort to believe that it will work..

The picture above is to conclude my vacation last time in Indonesia, where it all began with our family gathering for the first time at my brother's place, then series of breakfast together, followed by dinner... The top event was our engagement at Feb 23rd 2013, that thankfully run smoothly

And I had to go back to Iraq, to work for her, for our family, and for my self...
